I understand that Yosemite is a pretty busy park so I want to make sure we are not crowded out. We're not experienced campers, so we would like to keep it restrained to an affordable cabin or car camping. What are our options? Given that time is limited, are there a lot of good areas that can be accessed with relatively limited hiking? I'm assuming there will still be snow on the ground in April - will any of the roads/trails be closed off? Will the typical rental be able to get around okay? That's all I can think of at the moment. I would really appreciate any pieces of information you can offer in regards to those or additional things that I haven't thought of. I also realize this is a relatively obnoxious post, so please point me towards maybe a more appropriate sub or reddit resource that could answer some of these. I will prepare more over the next month, but for the time being I'd like to get plane tickets, car, and accommodations as soon as possible. Thanks very much in advance for the help.
